Mohit Paper Mills plans to expand its paper mill at Bijnor

Mohit Paper Mills plans to expand its Wastepaper /Agro Residue based Paper Mill at Bijnor with an investment of Rs. 385 million. The project involves expanding the capacity of the unit from 45 tpd to 185 tpd and setting up of a 3 MW captive power unit. The unit will use chemical recovery based manufacturing process. The raw materials used for the unit will be imported waste paper & wood pulp, bagasse, wheat straw, sarkanda, rice straw and non fibrous raw materials are caustic lye, chlorine gas, lime, sizing chemical, starch, soap stone powder, whitening agent and resin etc.

Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills is expanding their by seting up a new machine which will enhance the paper producing capacity by 67,000 tonnes with an investment of Rs. 2900 million. It will become operational by January 2010. Currently, the plant has capacity of the mill is 1,10,000 tonnes of paper and 1,80,000 tonnes of pulp.

K.R. Pulp & Papers to expand its paper mill in Shahjahanpur


K.R. Pulp & Papers to expand its paper mill in Rampur in Shahjahanpur in  Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 2271 million. The project involves expanding Writing and Printing Paper (200 TPD) and Captive Co-generation Power Plant (12 MW) in an area of 24 ha. Bleached varieties of paper using agricultural residues mainly wheat straw / bagasse will be manufactured. Small quantity of ready-made pulp will be purchased from outside.  Paper making process will involve raw material preparation; chemical recovery, bleaching; stock preparation, paper making, finishing and packaging.  Elemental chlorine free method for bleaching will be used. No Cl2 will be used in the process. Only ClO2 to be used for bleaching.


ABC Paper to expand its paper unit at Hoshiarpur

ABC Paper to expand its paper unit at Hoshiarpur district in Punjab with an investment of Rs. 1730 million.  The project involves setting up of writing and printing grade of paper unit (150 TPD to 450 TPD) including installation of chemical recovery plant (230 TDS/day), multi fuel power boiler (60 TPH), new 10 MW turbine, new wood pulp stream of 60 TPD, replacement of batch digester with new continuous digester (165 TPD breached pulp) for agro industry residue and high consistency pulper for waste paper processing of 20 cu.m. capacity.
